Room Types
Low Care (formerly Hostel)
Yalukang Aged Care has 30 beds in its Low Care unit. This includes 10 rooms dedicated to people living with dementia. Each room has its own private ensuite, built in robe, reverse cycle air conditioning and hydronic heating. A bed and bedside table are provided and space is available for residents to bring some of their own possessions. These rooms are located in a 10 bed secure environment and all rooms have a garden view and easy access to the common areas.
High Care (formerly Nursing Home)
Yalukang Aged Care has 30 beds in its High Care Unit. The Yalukang High Care unit was rebuilt and opened in August 2008. The rooms are light and spacious, each having their own private ensuite, built in robe and reverse cycle air-conditioning. These rooms are in excellent condition with overhead tracking. A bed and bedside table are provided and space available for residents to bring some of their own possessions. All rooms have a garden view and easy access to the common areas
