Site Re-build Update

Internal demolition works are progressing and are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Refurbishment and remediation works will then commence to bring the site back to operational capacity, which could take up to 12 months.
Re-opening of the site will occur in stages.
Our Acute Services, Kitchen and Stores wings will be the first departments opened, to enable services to the community to be reinstated on our site as our highest priority.

Yalukang Aged Care
Repatriation of Yalukang residents into temporary facilities will take place over the coming weeks.
Through extensive consultation with residents and their families we are pleased to have secured places for our residents in line with their preferences, locally in Tongala, Kyabram, Echuca and further afield where requested in Bendigo, Deniliquin, Mildura and Melbourne.
Staff will be re-deployed to these facilities to ensure continuity of care and familiar faces to our residents whilst our Yalukang Aged Care facility is rebuilt.

Rochester Based Services
Urgent Care Centre
40-44 Moore Street (Rochester Medical Clinic).
8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

District Nursing & Home Care
Full services available for eligible clients in the Rochester, Elmore, Nanneella, Lockington and surrounding communities.

Elmore Based Services
Allied Health Services
Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Social Work and Group Exercise classes are available Monday to Friday, at our Jeffrey Street, Elmore location (adjacent to Elmore Medical Practice).
Programs are being revised to coincide with the community bus that is providing free transport between Rochester, Elmore and Rochester South (Elmore Field Days site). Further details will be advertised as
the timetable and programs are confirmed.
RFDS Community Transport Service also offers free transport to and from Elmore for appointments.
Social Support Group
REDHS Social Support Group (SSG) is running in conjunction with the Bendigo Community Health SSG
in Elmore on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
