Today we welcomed Shirley, our first patient to our Acute Service post 2022 floods.

This exciting milestone now means that our full complement of services are now available at our Rochester Campus.

REDHS Acute Care is welcoming, personal and close to home. With 10 overnight beds, our highly skilled team provides care for medical admissions across a large variety of illnesses, injuries and conditions.

Our RIPRN nurses are supported by doctors (known as VMOs – Visiting Medical Officers), allied health professionals (including dietitians, physiotherapists, podiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, all supported by allied health assistants) and hotel and support services (kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff).

We support patients with a range of care, services and targeted programs including the Transition Care Program, Rural Withdrawal Program, Palliative Care and Urgent Care.
